Summer Nature Adventure Camps
We have places open on some camps. Check openings or view our Nature Adventure Camp brochure to see which camps interest you for your child.
 

Late-night openings at Scioto Audubon Metro Park
The park will stay open till midnight on the second and final Fridays of every month through October. Climbers must bring their own equipment to use the climbing wall. Also enjoy late-night fishing from the dock on the Scioto River.

Ohio Prairie Conference

Metro Parks is hosting the Ohio Prairie Conference in the Nature Center at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park.

Teacher Workshops
Metro Parks is holding teacher workshops in June and July (Nature, not just for Science Anymore, Option 1 and Option 2 AND Highlighting PE Standards in the Outdoors) for K-12 and Phys Ed teachers.

Walnut Woods Buckeye Area
The Buckeye Area at Walnut Woods is now open, featuring a 4-acre dog park, picnic area, kids play area and two miles of trails.
