Movement in the ranger ranks continues. A tip of the campaign hat to Kurt Fortman who was promoted from a ranger at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park to the assistant manager at Prairie Oaks Metro Park. Kurt has been with Metro Parks since 2002 where he started as an intern at Blacklick Woods and then at Blendon Woods, where he was promoted to part-time park technician. In 2005 he was promoted to full-time park technician at Blendon Woods. Kurt became a ranger at Blendon Woods in 2009 and transferred to Battelle Darby Creek in 2014.
