DESCRIPTION:Get ready to paddle with this on-land course designed to teach you the basics of being on the water! We will go over water safety\, proper paddle technique\, and practice the basic kayak paddling strokes from shore\, followed by an on-water portion. Meet at Lake 1 Shelter at Darby Bend Lakes\, Prairie Oaks Metro Park. 2755 Amity Road\, Hilliard\, OH. Solo\, sit in kayaks available for ages 10+\, max weight: 275Ibs. A couple of tandem kayaks will be available for participants of all ages\, with an adult\, on a first come first serve basis.
