DESCRIPTION:On April 8\, 2024\, North America will experience its second total solar eclipse in 7 years and\, yes\, the path of totality will be moving right through Ohio. After that\, it won’t be until 2044 that such an event will visit the lower 48 states again. If you are the right location at the right time\, you will experience over 4 minutes of totality (darkness). In this program\, you will come to better understand how a solar eclipse works and how to optimize your chances to view this event when the time comes. We will explore the path of totality as it moves across the United States and Ohio\, weather trends that may impact viewing\, safety\, observing tools\, and various ways to improve your chances to view the event. Informational indoor program- no solar viewing during the program. Ages 10+.
