Our Amphitheater (Eberhart Commons) is an open area green space located at the north end of the park. The site is in full sun on the west edge of Homestead Lake. It is 220’ to the Lakeside Pavilion and 230’ to the Covered Bridge. The Amphitheater is approximately 120’x 60’, with a 2’ elevated stage with spot lights and a granite educational display on the east side. The stage is approximately 20’x 25’. There are three electrical outlets (two near the stage), and three 8’ wooden benches at the rear west side of the amphitheater. The Amphitheater’s maximum capacity is 100. Chairs are permitted on the grass. Lot 4 is the closest parking with a capacity of 46 with two handicap parking spaces These spaces are shared with general visitors, and are not guaranteed. Suspended over Homestead Pond, The Bridge is located at the north end of the park. It is 230’ from the Amphitheater, 240’ from the Gazebo, and 530’ from the Barn Shelter restrooms. The bridge is 15’x50’. No picnic tables or grills are included in the Covered Bridge rental. The bridge has lighting, and the pond’s aerator can be turned off during your event. Chairs, tables, and grills are not permitted on the Covered Bridge. It is ADA compliant, and Lot 5 is the closest parking (about 100’ away) and can be parked with ranger assistance. Reservations available in 2-hour increments.
This is an open air shelter with two walls and is located at the north end of the park. It is immediately adjacent to the south edge of Homestead Lake. There are 16 (6′) fiberglass picnic tables inside of the pavilion. It has two fireplaces and wood is provided upon request. Full-view overhead garage doors can be pulled down to enclose the shelter (staff must open or close the doors). There are electrical outlets, overhead lighting, two large grills, a balcony overlooking the pond with a water fountain, and a playground nearby. The nearest restrooms are on the north side of the Barn Shelter, approximately 500’ southeast. Parking spaces are also used by general visitors and are not guaranteed. This is an open air shelter with one wall located in the center of the park. The closest restroom is at the Barn Shelter, approximately 350’ to the east. There are two (2-plug) electrical outlets, eight (6′) tables, one charcoal grill, fireplace (wood provided), dustpan and broom, nearby water fountain, and nearby shared basketball courts. Parking lot 3 is the closest, with a capacity of 36 and two handicap parking spaces. These spaces are also used by general visitors and are not guaranteed. All day and half-day reservations available.
