DESCRIPTION:Dress for an off-trail adventure!!! Help us rid our beautiful park of litter and non-native\, invasive plants such as garlic mustard and honeysuckle. We will also be planting native trees and shrubs. Our trash and invasive plant removal will be focused in the Spring Creek area (including the woods and ravines on either side of it.) The Schrock Lake area is the focus for tree planting and trash. Terrain may be rough\, but flatland options are available near the lake. No strollers\, please. Sign up at: https://www.earthdaycolumbus.org/volunteer \nPlease bring garden/work gloves if you have them and wear long pants and old shoes/boots. We will be OFF-TRAIL. If you are planning on getting into the creek\, wear very old clothes and you may want to bring a change of clothes! Event is rain or shine\, canceled only if lightning.
