Attention Young Nature Enthusiasts! Join the Ohio Young Birders Club, the premiere birding group for youth aged 12 to 18!

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP IS FREE NOW THROUGH FEBRUARY 28, 2026!

Founded in 2006 at the Black Swamp Bird Observatory, the Ohio Young Birders Club has grown into a statewide club, with chapters in each corner of Ohio. The Central Ohio Chapter is proudly sponsored by the Grange Insurance Audubon Center located in Scioto Audubon Metro Park, and they are covering the annual fee for new members now through February!

Enjoy exclusive, members-only monthly field trips, from FREE programs with the Ohio School of Falconry to bird hikes and more! OYBC members have the chance to lead outings with like-minded peers and gain important experience completing service-learning projects in the name of local conservation. Members can attend any field trip statewide and enjoy discounts at both Grange Insurance Audubon Center events and at Black Swamp Bird Observatory! The annual fee for membership is just $10 a year, and the Grange Insurance Audubon Center is going to cover this fee for new members that join through February 28, 2026. Email Central Chapter Advisor Samuel Kerr at samuel.kerr@audubon.org to join today!

Our next outings are February 14 for the Great Backyard Bird Count, and March 14 for a special Nature Photography Workshop! Join today!
