Take a 1.5-mile stroll through the wetlands in search of creatures enjoying the awakening of spring. Bring binoculars if you have them. The Kokomo trail is an easy grass, dirt and boardwalk trail.
Meet at the Slate Run Wetlands parking lot at 11140 Winchester Rd., Ashville.
