About

Bank Run promises to be a different kind of Metro Park, with its main focus as an event and meeting space. It will be a boon for corporate and large non-profit groups seeking high-capacity facilities for their organizational gatherings. The park has two beautiful lodges, each accommodating 99 people for sit-down functions, plus a newly-built 299-person outdoor shelter. There is also a 3-mile trail which runs around an old quarry lake and into other parts of the park, ideal for large 5K events.

Trails

Multipurpose Trail

3.25 miles
Easy – Hike, Bike, Pets – Paved  
Loops through the Event Center, around the quarry pond and through forests and fields.

This trail may be closed due to Event Center activities. Please follow posted directions.

Event Space

Lodges and Shelters

Unlike traditional park shelters, the Event Center at Bank Run is intentionally designed to support larger, more structured gatherings, while still being surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.

Reservations for the event center are now open, with options depending on the size and scope of your event:

  • Full-site rentals for major events (1,000+ guests) that utilize the entire event center can be booked 12-18 months in advance.
  • Large Scale Events (500+ guests), including events like 5K races, can reserve spaces such as Flagstone Shelter, The Grand Shelter and River Rock Lodge 8 to 12 months in advance.
  • Individual facility reservations (individual lodges or shelters) are available for reservation up to eight months in advance.

River Rock Lodge

The River Rock Lodge hosts up to 99 people, has heating and air conditioning, a kitchenette, large TV with HDMI connection, WiFi and restrooms. Connects to The Grand Shelter outside.

The Grand

The Grand Shelter hosts up to 299 people and is rented together with River Rock Lodge from April-October. It includes picnic tables, grills and restrooms.

Flagstone Shelter

This is an open air shelter with charcoal grills, picnic tables, electrical outlets, lighting, drinking fountain, and restrooms. The maximum capacity is 120, and is ADA accessible.

Added Amenities – Stage

The stage can be added to your event. It includes 4 outlets on the stage, parking area and electrical connections for food trucks.
