Smile big! We’re kicking off Metro Parks 48th Annual Winter Hike Series this December and we’ve added a few new twists.

The winter hike series will run through the end of February and will include hikes at 18 different parks. We can’t do the mass gathering nor the food, so you and your friends and family have six great hikes to choose from every month. Complete seven hikes and you’ll get this wonderful ticket to travel winter hike patch. You can get your winter hike booklet from a park employee or download it at metroparks.net and get more details.

While you’re out enjoying the winter hikes, stop by our new #cbusparkie selfie station and capture some great memories. It will rotate through six different parks from December through February. Follow us on Instagram to see locations or check out the list below.
