Gotta catch ’em all at Scioto Audubon’s climbing wall

A wild Golem has appeared! Several Pokémon were spotted at Scioto Audubon’s climbing wall during an Outdoor Adventure climbing program for kids. Our Pokémon trainers bravely climbed higher and higher using the Poké Ball holds to seek out hidden Pokémon. Many made it all the way to the top of the wall, but everyone worked hard to overcome fears and challenges.

Rock climbing is a unique sport, suitable for all ages. While climbing competitions do exist, it can be an individual sport where you are only competing against yourself. Each route is a puzzle with many right answers, working out not only your body but your mind as well. The biggest challenge, physically, is that rock climbing is a full-body workout using muscles that aren’t used to working so hard.

Follow the Outdoor Adventure team for more rock-climbing opportunities where we teach the basics and provide all necessary equipment. Be prepared since you never know when hidden Pokémon will appear at our other programs.
