Memorial bricks added to Friends’ commemorative programs

MELISSA MEYER
Development Assistant, Friends of Metro Parks

Friends of Metro Parks is pleased to announce that Memorial Bricks are making their debut this year! Since many of the parks are full of commemorative trees and commemorative benches, we decided to give an alternative commemorative option for select parks.

Memorial Bricks will be a $250 donation, and can be placed at the Scioto Audubon Butterfly Garden, near the nature center at Highbanks, by the naturalist office at Sharon Woods, by the nature center bulletin board at Blendon Woods, near the nature center at Blacklick Woods, and also at the Blacklick Woods Golf Course.

Each memorial brick will feature three lines of text, with up to 25 characters per line, so that each memorial brick will make a wonderful statement to honor or commemorate friends or loved ones.
