Join us for WAG! Fest, the coolest dog day ever, at Prairie Oaks Metro Park on Saturday, August 28 from 10am-4pm. The event will take place at the Darby Bend Lakes area, located at 2755 Amity Road, Hilliard, Ohio 43026, and is free to attend.

Created as a means to celebrate our canine-human friendships, WAG! Fest is an entertaining and convenient way for dog lovers to find the best products and services for keeping their canine companions strong, healthy and happy, all while enjoying the open air of the beautiful Darby Bend Lakes area of the park. Dogs will enjoy wandering the trails and splashing around at the doggie beach. Stop, shop and learn from the area’s best dog-related product and service providers.

WAG! Fest offers everything from educational advice to live entertainment and contests, including these activities and attractions:

  • The WAG! Marketplace will include exhibits of products, services and samples from pet retailers, veterinarians, doggie daycare centers, pet photographers, groomers, trainers and clubs and organizations dedicated to the health and well-being of canines.
  • Dogs can take a dip at the Water Bark Beach off-leash swim area or just enjoy the cool oasis of over two tons of ice at the Atlas Butler Ice Castle.
  • Visitors can meet experts from various area rescue groups to learn about the best four-legged match for their home and lifestyle at the PetPeople Meet-The-Breed area.
  • Captivating disc demonstrations, agility performances and dock diving by some of the area’s most talented canines. Plus, dogs and their owners can test out the Sky Dogs agility course and receive expert guidance and advice if interested in the sport.

In addition to providing an array of activities and fun for dogs, WAG! Fest’s most important mission is to help dogs in need. Dozens of dog-serving rescue groups, shelters and organizations will be present to make canine-to-human introductions and help dogs find their forever homes. For more information, visit www.WAGFEST.com.
