Friends of Metro Parks
Friends of Metro Parks is a non-profit, membership-based, organization focused on supporting our Metro Parks through interactive activities, advocacy and fundraising. We LOVE our Metro Parks… and we we work to make sure these beautiful, natural spaces are LOVED and enjoyed for generations to come.
You may have heard about – or even participated in – some of our recent activities:
- Constructing and building bluebird nesting boxes at Prairie Oaks Metro Park
- Advocating through Earth Day celebrations
- Conducting the Bison Bowl kickball tournaments and Bison Baby Shower in support of the Bison Reintroduction Project
- Hosting the Paws in the Parks dog walk series for pet parents and their canine companions
